Nilufer Erdebil, P.Eng, MBA, PMP
Nilufer has over 17 years of experience in innovation within various fields including telecommunications, application development, program management and IT management. Throughout her career she has always had a passion for technology, business, commercializing technology and navigating change. Having worked in a number of international organizations and lived on three continents, Nilufer has a global mindset.
Prior to launching Spring2 Innovation, Nilufer began her career working at Procter & Gamble, in sales, and moved into software engineering. As a software designer she has worked on leading edge technologies and products, in a variety of international defense and telecommunications companies, including General Dynamics, CrossKeys Systems (now Oracle) and Marconi Wireless (now Ericsson). After going back to school to earn an MBA, she has worked in a number of Technology, Project Management and Marketing positions at Bell Canada.
It was in Technology Development at Bell Canada while working in the Advanced Solutions Innovation Center that she truly began to understand and become passionate about that special mix of environment, people, partners, and insight that made innovation possible.
Nilufer is a 2014 recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal Forty Under 40 Award and a 2016 recipient of the WCT Leadership Award from Women in Communications and Technology. She is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Queen’s University.
Olivia is a public relations practitioner, engagement expert and event management enthusiast. Over the past seven years she has developed, implemented, analyzed, and managed numerous digital communications strategies and events for publications and organizations in the public and private sector, including government bodies, crown corporations, start-ups, post-secondary institutions, not-for-profits and NGOs. Olivia’s recent experience is primarily focused on community building, crowdsourcing, and action-based engagement, providing her with a fresh perspective on comprehensive communications and design thinking. Olivia holds a BA from the University of Guelph, and an honours diploma in Public Relations from Algonquin College.
Jolene Dilney, MBA
Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Jolene graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communications and French as a Second Language in 2013. She has a background in Communications in the Public sector and Fundraising & Events in the Not-for-profit sector. Jolene worked for the Department of Justice in Human Resources supporting the Organizational and Classification Design team. After returning to the Maritimes and graduating with an MBA from Cape Breton University this spring, she recently returned to Ottawa.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Ezra graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelors of Economics in 2017. Ezra has spent time working and volunteering with various organizations, including the Kanata North BIA and Orkidstra, working on initiatives to engage and support the local community.
Ezra focuses on content creation and developing workshops based around design thinking in K-12 education for teacher’s professional development
